The main idea of the project "With Krakono at computer" was born on the Labour Office in Semily in summer 2004. In order to execute project activity we invited different types of organisations to the devolopment partnership: the training courses will be provided by the educational institutions such as VCT Turnov, IS Vysoké nad Jizerou, RS Semily and SOUL Hejnice and Harrachov, the medial and political support will be secured by Liberec district and Euroregion NISA and the expert consultancy will be provided by the partners KRNAP and AIVD Prague. Very important partners to us are also municipal agencies of vilages of Semily district, whose citizens are our target group, namely the municipalities Bělá, Chuchelna, Koťálov, Mírová pod Kozákovem, Paseky nad Jizerou, Roprachtice, Studenec, Víchová nad Jizerou, Vítkovice v Krkonoích and Vysoké nad Jizerou. We collaborate also with the non-profit private organisation Most ke vzdělání Bridge to Education due to effective management and coordination of different project activities. The constitution and the division of roles within our development partnership was carried unanimously on general assembly where all partners have been presented.
The project "With Krakono at computer" is focused on the problem of countryside inhabitans lifelong training. Its main goal is to offer an occasion to improve the qualification and increase the posibility to gain basic skills which are important for comfortable life in the modern society to the people who live in worse accessible areas of the Giant Mountains. The posibility to attend free of charge individual moludar educational courses directly in the place of abode will be given to people who have unequal chances to educate themself due to the worse traffic connections to the educational centers in the cities. The areas of the education will be information technologies and techniques (the mobile computer training rooms will be set up), foreign language courses, trainings for small and medium enterpreneurs (tax law, accounting and legislative framework for business activities). Other educational modules will be also provided as our target groups claimed for them and also modules that are requiered and needed due to actual situation on the regional labour market.
The project should help to balance and lower unequality on labour market, eliminate discrimination and improve the qualification of the most threatened groups that are mainly people older than 50, young people under the age of 26 and alumni, persons who are taking care for children, handicaped people, lower-qualificated persons as well as the small and medium entrepreneurs.
The project is based on the principles of the Community Initiative Programme EQUAL which can be described as partnership between public, non-profitable and private organisations, innovation of the lifelong training of countryside inhabitans and testing new approaches in practice, shared decision-making about all project activities among all participating partners, rapprochement and improvement of transnational cooperation with partners that focuse similar problems of labour market in their projects, thematical approach which is oriented on adaptability support, lifelong education and methods which lead to employment of people who are threatened by discrimination and unequality on relation with labour market, mainstreaming based on enforcing the successful tools into political practice and propagation of project outputs on local, regional, national and international level and gender mainstreaming based on enforcing the equal approach and opportunities to education for women and men and considerall gender aspects on every single level of decision-making and realisation of project activities.
